About "Nanda Van"

An enrichment plantation site of approx. 1 hectare area has been raised by GBPNIHESD, Almora in collaboration with Nagar Palika, Almora.
It has been named "Nanda Van" after the revered deity of Almora 'Nanda Devi'.
During the last 4 years approx. 800 saplings of broad leaved tree species have been planted at Nanda Van.
A cleanliness drive programme was organized by GBPNIHESD in collaboration with Nagar Palika, Almora jointly under “Swachh Bharat Mission”
